I enjoyed the story (punches and all) but I did not like the ending - for it just ended. No conclusion, no wrap up, no finality; just questions and statements. And I know that sounds backwards because statements would indicate ending but not like this - not when it seemed like the was a story building but then it just stopped. I very much liked the 'conversation' if you can call it that in the gym, with the punches, I thought that was brilliant and very genuine.

After i watched that episode i had to wonder what Jack must have felt, basically killing Carter! I think you just about summed it up! It had to of been difficult, the feeling of guilt...wow! But Jack closes himself off when emotions hit too close to the surface. You wrote this really well. :)
