soralol chapter 15 . 1/17/2013 You want my thoughts on this? ...Well holy shit I can't wait for the next chapter. Great writing style love the way you use the characters it really nice though, i hope it has a good ending good work and keep writing. PS. At least I think you did a hell of a job capturing toph's attitude. I read alot of Tokka stories and I mean alot ,but only about two and fulls actually get her character right. Sometimes they go alittle off the deep end with her lol thanks for posting this story. |

ChibiNinja0 chapter 15 . 8/2/2009 That has gotta be one of the most intense chapter I have ever read. The fight scene was incredible and shocking and even after reading it a second time, it still had me on the edge of my seat. When Sokka twisted the dagger out of Satsuki was brilliant. Most writers would put a boring 'he ripped it out of her' sort of statement, but the way you described it was so realistic. 'Finally, the dagger pulled free with a horrible squelch.' While reading that part, I could hear and see that scene happening. How you portrayed Azula's character was very good. The entire time, I was frustrated that she was always one step ahead of Toph and Sokka. And oh my gosh, the ending was a HUGE shocker. I really cannot wait for the next chapter! PLEASE update soon! We are all anxious to find out what happens. D ~ChibiNinja0 |

Bluetiger chapter 15 . 5/30/2009 The battle between Toph and Azula was awesome, they were awesome, and I really enjoyed reading it. The action was really well described too, and I loved the way that despite Toph's creative attacks, Azula was able to use her agility to keep one step ahead all the time. :) However, I must confess that I didn't like the way that you wrote Sokka here, to me he seemed to be both weak and pathetic. He's a full grown man, and an experienced warrior, yet he can be physically pulled and pushed around by Toph as if he were a small child, and Azula can block his punches before easily pulling his weapon from his feeble grasp. I mean yes Sokka is going to be the weakest of the three warriors, but only because both Toph and Azula are awesome benders, in terms of pure physical strength, Sokka ought to be stronger. Not that Azula couldn't beat him in a fight, what with the advantage that her superior agility gives her, just in my opinion not as easily as she does here. Having said all that, I really loved the end of the fight, and Toph's slow realisation of Sokka's condition. The way that he wanted her to leave, so that she didn't have to feel what now seems inevitable, was actually really moving, and also quite in character somehow. _ Lets hope that the bison whistle brings the aid that is so desperately needed. Update soon! ) |
Foxsoul chapter 15 . 5/30/2009 AH! I'mma kill you if you kill Sokka! Death! The story's great, just don't ruin it. |
seddie4evaXD chapter 15 . 5/30/2009 Seriously, I can't take much more cliffhanging stuff! Please hurry! |
Tegypte chapter 15 . 5/29/2009 0.o PLEASE update! you have like..the most awesome fight scenes EVA! I loved the way you described the scenes: 'The blood was starting to drip off the chair. It formed a pool at the base of one of the stone legs. In the unnatural quiet, the dripping blood seemed as loud as a drum beat. Sokka edged away from the chair, sickened by the amount of blood that was now rolling in thick beads down three of the chair's legs. The white shards of bone that had exploded from her wrists and ankles stood out from the river of red that was flowing beside them.' I loved the way you described the dripping blood 'like a drum beat', and it's almost as if slowing down the process of time in Sokka's thoughts to a level of extreme awareness, probably brought on by five straight years on Azula's trail. And ZOMG! what WILL Katara think when Aang (though i'm not a kataang fan...don't shoot!) comes home with not only sea prunes, but her practically dead brother and best friend? xD lol...por Aangy. 'Her voice still retained its agonizing elegance and control' I like how you often point out JUST how annoyingly infuriating Azula's aloofness in present situations is. Like a dead frozen hand softly grating on you're nerves, pinpricking JUST the right nerves and inflaming them. Another thing, I love how you describe you're fighting, it's almost like...like... sitting in the stands at the collusseum adn watching the fighting proceed down below, compeltely unaware (or uncaring) of you're gaze and amusment at their own bloody demises. update soon!
