It is rumored for him to be Jewish because his father (Alois) was a bastard child. his grandmother (Maria Anna) did not marry his father's biological father but another man who adopted Alois. As Hitler gained power of the National Worker Socialist Party in Germany, he had the SA do a background check of his family and the report that they turned in was that he was not Jewish but that could have been falsified. |
