Nii is for older brother and kun refers to a friend that is the same age Chan is used for girls or people younger and San for older and for respect so naruto would say otou-san which means father. He would not say kakashi when addressing him bc that that's when ur good friends with some one otou-san is endearing and respecting with the right tone of voice
