Sorry had to say that, Magikarp is my favorite Pokemon and I’m glad it got its time to shine. Excellent job!

At first while reading Giovanni as a father figure I wondered how it would play out, but once Delia was in the picture again (plus the flash backs) it made him come across as more of a mob/mafia type boss, which fits nicely! I’m enjoying “The Godfather” or “The Sopranos” type twist on Giovanni’s personality and role very, very much!

I love this story just as much as I love “Ashes,” especially the humor that’s brought in to balance out the darker parts. I hope Misty will be ok, wasn’t expecting golduck to go that far, but these surprises are part of what makes this story and writing excellent! Excited to read more!

I was so excited to see that Here I Am has started that I first had to re-read this amazing story! The Blind Alley was just as exciting, suspenseful, and engaging as the first time I read it! The way that everything you write is important to the story as a whole is amazing, and I can't wait to see how this starts to play out in Here I Am! Off to read the first chapter!

I want to see how Ash is planning to escape from everyone in the first place.

Hi there! I just finished reading this amazing story last Monday, but it took me a while to leave a review, because I wanted to give you a worthy one. First of all: thank you for sharing this story with us, even though I am left with more questions than answers.

I have really enjoyed reading this story as I love the way you write. The way you choose your words is a pleasantry, to be honest. I think that is also what kept me going the most, though the curiosity definitely helped too. I'd love to see the ending to this story, even though at the moment I don't like the way Ash is behaving (though I understand the reasoning). Neither do I agree with him being against the "Chosen One"-title and I simply don't like the current relationship he has with his mother.

The whole relationship-thing between Misty and Gary is a nice touch, though confusing too as you posted both their versions of how they broke up and then Tracy mentioning them as "lovebirds" towards Ash.

Gary is awesomely written by the way, very good job on him. I like Pikachu as well, Pidgeot not so much, but that's because I think of him to be much braver. Misty is a bit of a cry-baby, but I love how she bluffs with Charizard, even though he's with Delia. And then there is Team Rocket, they simply rock. I really like how you portraited them and how you swooped their mission into the story as them "watching" over Ash. Unbeknownst to them of course.

Anyhow, I cannot wait for the continuation of this story. I'd love to see how you picture Mewtwo, crossing my fingers a little too. I hope he still has this brooding/questioning his existence-kind of personality, but... I will just have to wait -

It’s more than a bit nostalgic to see this part of the story end.

Meowth was phenomenal this chapter. That opening paragraph- and really opening scene overwhelmed me with feelings. Then Meowth gets to title drop ‘chosen one’ that pleased me so much.

That last scene though with Giovanni. Poignant, utterly frightening and vivid. It takes a lot to spook the Boss.

This chapter is such a perfect cap on the arc. Really well done on this one. I’ll look forward to the second arc. Congratulations early, this is an achievement to be proud of for both the length of work and real-time you’ve put into this over the last decade.

This chapter was everything I could have hoped for in the reaction. The disbelief to the whole heart acceptance and teasing, prince omg. And Mew calling him Ashton is just adorable.

Loved the past scene. I’m indulgent to the times when the three get just enough clues but not enough to make that final connection. And to be fair to them it would be so out in left field James wouldn’t even consider.
