Jennifer Hart chapter 1 . 2/10/2008
Oh, very cute.

Thanks to catching up in syndication I've only seen Logan's other two partners so far and after hearing the comparisons on boards I decided I'd check some fanfics to have at least some familiarity with who they were talking about. And after reading these two stories I have to say I'm looking forward to when we reach the Wheeler eps. I think I'm going to enjoy her.
Cataracta chapter 1 . 12/29/2007
I love your writing style. It's not superficial, like way too much writing is on this site, and it's not -trying- to be deep, again like way too much on this site. It's pretty much perfect, kind of like a bunch of dry, true-if-uncomfortable observations that no one wants to say but manage to slip out anyway. And I love your Eames. She's pry my favorite out of all of the ones I've read. Anyway, fantastic story.

*grins* I loved this story. Not a lot of fic that I've read involves mainly with Wheeler & Logan, so it's refreshing to read some great fic about them. I also like how Bobby & Alex are in there, & how you've wonderfully portrayed everyone's characters.

Keep up the great work! :D

OKay...I found this, but I still want more. You can do it! I especially love the line about the cage door being ajar...LoVE IT!
BookWorm37 chapter 1 . 1/23/2007
The way you write Alex is so hilarious - and so cannon! Loved the sharing thing with Logan and Wheeler. Great job.
navigatio chapter 1 . 1/22/2007
I like this story. You did a good job capturing the Wheeler/Logan dynamic.
Penn O'Hara chapter 1 . 1/22/2007
I'm not sure Logan is that complex, nor Wheeler that interested in sticking up for him, but I'm still enjoying the internalizing of Wheeler.

Some of the dialogue appears too obscure (it's probably me being dense though) and the scene movements are disjointed for me, as the reader, while they would be spot-on for Wheeler, the one experiencing them. I got left behind on a number of occasions and I'm not really that dense. Just a word of warning. Don't leave the reader behind.

I still don't get the hamster reference, even on the reread. ? And some of those similies work and some don't, but when they work, they work well.

I intend to read everything you write. There are gems in there when I think, I wish I'd have thought of that! :-D

You're on my faves list.
Didi chapter 1 . 1/22/2007
Intensely adorable... really, I'm not kidding. I love this mini-series you've started. There's great insight with enough bite to make this LAO: CI. And I love the characterization through out; every single character is dead on. Please continue; I've love to see what you come up with next!
daf9 chapter 1 . 1/22/2007
So I read somewhere that you're an author worth reading and I must say that I agree.
JeannieMac chapter 1 . 1/22/2007
Ohh...this is wonderful (and so was Inside Out, by the way - I just really suck at reviewing). It's the best kind of fanfiction - the kind that gives the reader all kinds of new insight into the characters...but even though it's new information, it all rings TOTALLY true with what we know of them from the show. I thought your voices were pitch-perfect too, and your description of Eames as "a pint-sized, sardonic guru sitting on the head of the Goren mountain" made me laugh out loud. So funny, and so exactly how I would imagine Wheeler seeing her. Thank you, and I look forward to more from you!
tere55 chapter 1 . 1/21/2007
Wheeler's perspective as a new member of the squad continues to be very interesting. The cold shoulder to Logan because of Deakins is believeable. Another good story.
mwendyr chapter 1 . 1/21/2007
I don't quite know why you had a problem with it because I LOVED IT! I love your style of writing and once again the characters are spot on. The interaction is, for me, perfect because it's realistic and seems to stay within the boundaries of Cannon.

Your descriptions are good, too. I particular liked the way you described Bobby in one instant that just sums him up for me "he hovers over her, wavering on the precipice of some intuitive leap."

AND, I love the way you write for Mike too, since he's one of my favourites that's always important to me. The interaction between him and Alex in the final scene was perfect. And although we don't know too much about Wheeler yet, you write her so well. Are you sure you're not a professional writer?

Wendy
