i really like this chapter. the way Renn helps Murtagh through the mind assult is so kind. and the way he was a bit mad at Eragon for trying to help is so Murtaghish. cute, nice scenes. thanx again!

absolutely brilliant, as always. i'd prefer Murtagh and Renn, don't really like Nasuada that much. she's a bit boring, whereas Renn is awesome. great idea to put Murtagh into deep sleep to keep Galbatorix away fom him, trust him to think it's boring. pleasee dont kill Mutagh, no matter what happens. is Galbie gonna catch em again?oh, can't wait.

loving this story. super cool. murtagh is so sweet to eragon. sorry i havent reviewed before now, only had a few seconds to snatch reading it cos im busy with schoolwork and getting ready for easter ect ect. there was only one thing. i think murtagh should have been better with a sword. he's older, trained longer, fought for his life more often and loads of other things. maybe the king's gonna put him back in training though. anyway, loved it loved it, can't wait for more. thanx

I don't know if I have read a more exciting, better written fanfic on this entire site. I couldn't stop reading this! Your ideas were completely unique and original. How Galbatorix, though evil, still seemed to have perhaps a glimmer of sanity left in him. How the children all had their own personalities and each saw their father in a different light. How Eragon and Murtagh could reconnect, even after all the pain they had been through. I like your characters and how you incorporated them so smoothly into the rest of the story instead of the traditional Eragon/Arya pairing. This was so much more creative and it really showed. I'm guessing Galbatorix was incinerated by Shruikan, who, because he wasn't legitimately his dragon, did not die with his rider and will live on in a liberated life. Will Aaron be King of Alagaesia now, and will Saphira and Thorn begin the new generation of dragons? I would absolutely love to read the epilogue and, with any luck, the sequel. Please update soon!
