woah. that was a ride.

that all out battle w/ the slayers was the perfect climactic point to this story. truthfully, i was hesitant to read this b/c sounded like it was gonna be a lot of sad parts. which there were, but you did them in a way that had real emotion in it. like i for real teared up at a few points. thankfully, you had a happy ending so i was okay.

thanks for sharing! helping me get a fuffy fix during all this quarantine stuff.

Really enjoyed this story. The twist, keeping the good things that happened but negating the bad, makes this sweet while still feeling earned because of what has happened before. This also uses one of my favorite fanfic techniques- concealing a plot twist by making the hints look like a writing choice- by having only slayers and demons appear. Completely fits what the story seems to be, but also fits perfectly with the twist.

This was a very well written story and I thank you for the time you took to post it on this site.

I don't know why I didn't review the first time i read this. It's how I keep track of stories, but I got to say the second time through was just as good.

One of the best fics in this fandom. The storyline is brilliant and totally unlike the usual kill monsters, kill vampires, kill Glory, kill The First etc. I've read this at least 5 times in the last 2 years and each time i read, I feel sad that you didn't bring up Diane after they woke. That's one of my fav characters.

Pity that you'd stopped writing. But I'm thankful that you'd given us this, coz I can go back to reading this again!

This story was freaking epic!
I'm new to the Fuffy world of fanfic, finally having to tear myself away from Willow and Tara stories because I've read all of the long ones, but man, what fanfic heaven I have found in your stories!

Absolutely amazing! You have done it again! This is the first fanfiction. I have ever cried reading (not because it was bad of course _) So well written and just so much passion. I could feel it throughout the whole story! I felt like I was actually there, in the arena with the slayers. Just happened to come across this whilst randomly jumping through pages, and what a find! I think it's probably the best piece of fanfiction I've ever read. So well written, you paced the plot like a pro, got the characters and dialogue down, and I just felt so drawn into the whole AU you created. Plus the whole idea was really original and well thought through.

You are clearly very talented, and if you aren't already writing in a paid/published context, then you bloody well should be!
