*eye twitches* Stop wallowing in self-pity before I beat you out of it. This is good, no matter what you think. The imagery of courtiers as peacocks is wonderfully done, especially since it's something of a commonly used image that you managed to make your own. I like Rorek going evilly beserk. It's fun. But I WANT MORE BLOOD!

And if it takes you three months to update for the next one, too, I will be severely displeased.

Killing and burning and screaming sound nice. But if the next chapter isn't up in, oh, I don't know, a month and four days, I think I'm going to start practicing those techniques on you. Perhaps not killing, because that would mean you couldn't write anymore, but lots of burning and screaming.

Wow...Great chapter. It was totally worth the wait.

A few quick questions:

1. The House of Azar is portrayed as arrogant and cruel. Why does the House of Metrion care about them? Or is it just their responsibility as the ruling family?

2. There were those children being guarded by Cyborg, Bee and the Hive. Will we see them (and the rest from that storyline) again?

3. I take it Nole's banner is the black symbol Rorek had on his breastplate on a white field - so what's Malchior's? Or for that matter, what do the banners of Metrion, Azar and Atlantis look like? Sorry about all the questions, but I take a great interest in this kind of thing.

First of all I would like to apologize for not reading your story in so long. My fault, all my fault. It was such an evil thing, not providing you with the "crack" you deserve.

Secondly, I would like to say that your continuation has certainly not disapointed me. The way you included Aqualad, Red X, Starfire and Slade was impressive to say the least. Would "House Atlantis" be a family of Hydromancers, perchance? And what exactly is a "Supreme Commander"?

On a side note: As you can obviously see, I have finally got my own fanfiction account. Could you please tell me how to write something on your profile?

Great story, very well written. Your writing skills are clearly well honed...

One little thing, though: I didn't quite understand the flashback in this chapter. The HIVE members mentioned weren't alive in the time of ancient Azarath...were they?

Besides the fact that Azar was a pacifist and the one to raise Raven for much of the beginning of her life, not bad. I'm assuming that this is a different Azar? (Malchior! Don't die beloved~ *ish murdered by Raven*)

Interesting bit with the raptor. Also the summoning scene was very well written and true to form.

Sometimes people just don't review after they first do, ever. I hate it when that happens, but as long as you like the story, keeping it up is good. I happen to love this story, I was waiting from ten am to get the new chapter, these things make my week. I wait for Fridays now. XDD

I was holding off on reviewing so I could seem unbiased if anyone else enters the contest, but it seems like you would have quit, if you didn't get some feedback. Please don't I wont survive the cliffhangers if you do.

Very, very nice... I like the world you're creating- especially the mythology. Interesting, the idea of dragons as semi-deities in particular. I'm hoping we get to see more of Kyrie later on, if only for the sheer humor potential of watching Rorek humiliate himself a thousand times over. (Sorry about that- sadistic streak coming out again.)

Anyways, please get over procrastinating and get the next chapter up SOON. Even if it does ruin my own shot at the contest. (I really can't compete with this, but it's entertaining enough that I don't care!)
