Poor Shika. I just read a fic where Yamato-kun is the sub for Kakashi-kun in his and Iru-kun's relationship.

That was so sad to read, having Naruto pining after Sasuke while Shikamaru obviously cares for him a lot; and then when Naruto finally says Shika's name, he's out giving himself cancer *sigh* Oh well, that was great (I love the pairing personally).

Aww. And shika wasn't even there to hear it! Excellent way to show that Naruto is moving on, that he's come to accept reality, but also a little sad, because now the only person who still believed in Sasuke has given up on him. Way to go. Perfect ending.

Oh my...my stomach clenched in unease when Naruto mumbled Shikamaru's name. This has got to be one of my personal favorite pairings in the Naruto fandom universe.

Overall...I loved your story. It was just that awesome. Hopefully Naruto and Shikamaru will talk things out and realize the magnitude of their feelings 'cuz that would be cool. Until next time.
