HotChilliGriffin chapter 1 . 3/3/2008 Wow, really good. That's funny, the show never showed you how they got Jack back into his box. I love all your stories, and I'm reading them all and sorry I'm not reviewing all of them but I thought that might be annoying... |
Tahti chapter 1 . 1/15/2007 This read like the actual show! Your writing is amazing and the grasp you have on the characters never fails to leave me stunned, I'm envious! Lol This line: "Her mind needed to believe that he could fix everything." I think it rings very true as regards Kate's feelings. And this: "She turned back to Kate a moment, watching her, and Kate wondered what the look was for, the curiosity and something like a revelation before she put a finger over her mouth and Kate closed her eyes." descibes Juliet perfectly; I still have no clue whose side she's really on. You're right, Kate understands Sawyer before anything else, that's probably why she found it kind of natural to get on it with him, he's a safe known territory, whereas Jack is the unknown. But what's life without challenges, right? |
hersheygal chapter 1 . 1/11/2007 That was great! |
Guppy3 chapter 1 . 1/9/2007 Great missing scene! For some unfathomable reason, it didn't even occur to me that Jack had to have been brought back from the operating room and Kate must have seen him again. Your inclusion of Juliet was interesting. My opinion on her character seems to vascillate between sympathetic and pure-evil. She has moments of empathy and humanity that she seems unable to conceal (like the scene with Jack following Colleen's surgery), but alternatively, she seems to be the most manipulative person on the show and capable of going to any lengths to get what she wants. I could absolutely see her calmly asking Kate to keep quiet, knowing that the threat was implied without having to state it. And how agonizing it must have been for Kate to not respond when he called her name. |
