You're a very good writer. You captured the personifies of each character very well, and captured the emotions of the situation too. I also liked that Lucy's late twin brother helped her through the immediate aftermath of the shooting, and how Lucy sang at the end of the service. It seems like something that she would do. Sometimes the ending to these kinds of stories can be very cheesy, making it seem like everything is perfect after some tragedy, but I think you wrapped things up nicely, showing how the Camdens grew closer through this experience and supported each other through it, with still the reminder that the healing had only just begun. Don't stop writing! Also, I thought the part at the end where Eric was talking about how God will never leave you through your troubles was spot on. Sometimes it feels like you're alone, but what a great reminder that God is always with us.

that was a really long chapter. You could have made it better by dividing up the different thoings and making new chapters. that would have made it a little better and less confusing because you jumped all over the place and i found it a little hard to follow.

You hit it right on the head when you said that that God didn't let this happen and that it doesn't work that way.
