Confession- this review isn't for this story specifically, rather I randomly stumbled across your username and fondly remembered a previous story of yours that blew me away- and still does.

I just wanted to let you know that ive been a huge fan of your writing for years now- back to your livejournal days. I remember a special story you had a dedicated LJ for- Division 15. I think that was what, 10 years ago? It captured Ichigo and Rukia's relationship, bond, chemistry beautifully- clearly had an effect on me, with me remembering it to this day. Life caught up and I had stopped following Bleach for 7-8 years, but of all the fics ive read, I still remember yours so fondly. Even if it isn't for bleach, I hope you are writing to this day. You have an incredible talent for conveying emotion, characterization, storytelling, etc. I've been a lurker forever (even back on LJ) but I specifically made this account to say this to you.

Ok, maybe that was a lie. I DO hope you continue writing bleach fanfiction one day, despite the "canonical" ending. Particularly that division 15 story. The stalker in me remembers you said you had another chapter in the works on your main LJ, but never posted it. If that's still floating around, I'd love to read it one day.

Oh my god, I'm so sad this fic hadn't been updated in so long, this is just fantastic. I love your characterization, it's spot-on. And the plot and your development of their journey has been beautiful! Additionally, your writing is very clear and conveys emotion very subtly and wonderfully. I wish you'd continued, I'd love to see how Rukia and Ichigo's relationship develops, how they survive in Sabiru, and how Ichigo learns to control his powers!

Anyway, this is a great fic and I hope you decide to pick it up again one day!

You can't imagine the inhuman noise of sheer agony I made when I came to find that this is the last chapter. What you have here so far is so great; so utterly perfect that I can hardly stand to think about reading anything but this right now. Anyway, thank you so much for what you've written so far, and even though looking up at the top of the page- dear god, 2007? oh no- and seeing that you might not be inclined to finish this fic, I really hope to see an update soon. Thank you again!

Oh please please please post part two soon! I know it's been 7 years but this is the best ichiruki fic i've ever read, it's so in character and believable!

I love how you didn't write things like how all of the sudden ichigo realized how beautiful rukia is, or had the sudden urge to kiss her, cuz that's so cheesy and predictable and i can't stand it...as much as i am an ichiruki fan, their relationship is NOT all mushy like that, and I love how you are one of the few people who avoided this and made them so natural.

Please continue soon. The premise of going off and surviving together is so great, seeing them thru other traveler's eyes has been one of my favorite aspects of the story, and I like how you're slowly building their relationship. I'll be waiting for part two, for however many years it takes you to post it! (but plz make it soon)

this is so fantastic. your characterizations are perfect and your writing is stunning. I know that after six years, you're probably not going to revive this one, but I figured I'd review on the off chance that it gets you to look back at it. thank you for writing this.

Even when I'm 89, I shall keep checking back on this fic. I will even tell my grandchildren about it. That's how hopeful and in love with this fic I am.

I just know that waiting for the next installments are going to be pure torture. The characterization throughout is so great; you've really captured the dynamic of these two, as well as breathed life into OC's: rounding them out just enough so that it's believable that these are people you would meet while travelling. Very well written, your style flows so well that it tricks you into reading more than you originally intended (it's 4:45 am, if that's any indication of what I'm trying to get across/why I may not be making any sense).

Also, as a side note, I'm going to be immature and admit that I want them to smooch. But that's nothing new.

I've really enjoyed reading this story and am subscribing on the off-chance that you'll continue it someday!

The prose is polished and the interpersonal exchanges are imbued with little details that carry emotional weight. Thanks for writing.
