I do love Eric putting everything on the line and reminding her of every last detail of the first time they met. It's about time he did something like that, don't you think? ;) And then, to end it with this: "I care deeply about my job. I’m human, and I admit I made a mistake, but don’t ever say that I don’t remember what means the most to me." That sealed it, right there. :D

And yeah, they truly are a perfect fit. :D
