Oh! Very dark and beautifully done! The breakdown was absolutely excellent, and I love how well the boy and young-Sasuke merged together so perfectly and without much of a distinction.

Oohh! A delve into the mind of an emo madman! Sasuke's not my most... favorable of characters, but this story's just too juicy to pass up. Please update soon! *throws Sasuke plushies*

Ah, I thought that this would be the kind of angst that gets me depressed, but now I realize that it's the kind that I enjoy. XD I'm a bad person.

'"You're... just a kid..."' That line struck me, because it wasn't hateful or angry, even though Sasuke had just killed the boy's father and was well on his way to killing the child. It was just... wonderment, I guess. It wasn't accusing at all.

Looks like sanity is slipping through Sasuke's fingers, whether he is aware of it and/or wants to admit it or not. Creepy (in a good way) that he's more-or-less become Itachi, but in an effort to sooth himself, he tried to kill the child; he wanted to change history, the poor thing.

Sasuke really isn't ready for assassination, I don't think. Killing in combat, yes, but assassination deprives others of self-defense since it's all about stealth. Emotionally, Sasuke isn't ready; it's too much like what he went through, which is certainly supported by Sasuke's... episode.

I'm not really sure where I'm going with my ramble, so let me say: good, interesting start; I'm looking forward to more; loved the last two lines; and yay, FFnet seems to slowly be fixing whatever went wrong with the email alerts.
