The way you keep them in character is beyond my comprehension. I hope in my heart that Sokka and Toph get together, I just don't think it will happen... It seems that the creators are sticking Sokka with Suki and only giving Toph the satisfaction of a crush on him. One can only hope for a Tokka ending.

I love your writing style, and I hope to see more from you. This was just the story to sustain the fluff monster within me. Great fanfic.

This is a really good Tokka fic. I normally don't read it, because people seem to find it weirdly hard to keep the two of them in character. But you did a great job! Toph was very Tophy and Sokka was very Sokka-like. Plus, it was super sweet.

Very nice story. It's hard to find Tokka stories that are even close to in character, but you have done a great job. You wrote them both very well.

The way you had Sokka describe a sunset was very original. There are lots of "someone tries to describe sight to Toph" stories out there, but most of the time the analogies people use don't make a lot of sense. Yours was good. And Quackers was hilarious!

As promised, I decided to take a look at once of your fan fics. Avatar, of course, since that is the genre I am most familiar with. I have to say that I really enjoyed this story. My word, but it is it wonderful and beautiful, all at once. You are a excellent author, my friend. I can easily see you penning that original novel, and getting it published, that you told me about.

Sokka and Toph are so in character that it is scary. I can easily see this happening in the series. Sokka is the perfect older brother: a bit complaining, grumpy, but overall, he's got a heart of gold, and he's not going to leave someone he cares about alone while they're hurting. Toph is just as we imagine her, and more: tough, opinionated, witty, but still twelve-year old girl. I love how you touch on her missing her parents. A lot of authors seem to forget about them entirely.

Sokka and Toph's conversation is wonderfully written, too. I just love the way Sokka helps Toph understand a sunset. You wrote some very believable Tokka. Some authors make the mistake of having the pair act OOC, just to get to some romance. But I find it works just as well to have them be themselves. It can be just as real and beautiful, in that way, and much more satisfying overall.

And Quakers the turtle-duck will never cease to be cute or amusing.

Once again, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful work. Did I say wonderful? I will probably be adding this to my Favs list. In fact, I think I will, just after this.
