Correction: "I'm fine," he assured. (questionable word choice aside, the quotation mark goes at the edge of the quote)

2. In their minds they poured through the possibility that House might be interested in Chase, or worse, or weirder that House and Chase might have an interest in each other that they'd already took action towards.

Correction: "Pour through" should be "pore through" (unless they are actually emptying a glass of milk over the object in question. Aside: Personally, I feel that "over" would be better word choice than "through," because "through" is generally used in contexts involving plural objects, when it is used. "over" is, to my knowledge, the more common phrasing.)
