What an amazingly beautiful story. I was in tears by the end. I really loved broken John and his relationship with Tosia it was very endearing and sweet. You had his relationship with Rodney spot on as well. I always loved those two together. Thanks for sharing this amazing story.

Great story. While the beginning reminded me of that other story that was written AFTER this one, I like this one better. I teared up a few times while reading this. I liked John and Tosia's relationship. And I thought you wrote John's predicament very well. The whole story was well written and great.

Wow. This story reminds me of Mirror, Mirror by Sabine C Bauer, a licensed SGA novel published in 2011. Different, yet similar.

For a first story this was pretty awesome. Loved the o/c interweaving with John. It was very heartwarming and just the right amount of mystery to keep me turning the pages. Even kept me up an hour after my bedtime on a work night because I didn't want to let it go. I hope you are still writing somewhere, I see you didn't write but a few fan fics for this storyline, which is a shame.

now I have read all your wonderful stories! though its been years since yo posted, I hope you read this! SGA is still my fave because I just love the epitome of the hero that was John Sheppard in very humanistic way with all his confidences and his insecurities all in one hunky male! and lets not the most fantastic team...EVER!
I love your writing style, your well thought out plots and how you stick pretty close to the characters we have come to know and love! thanks for a great read!

Wow. Do you know how rare it is that I actually like an OC and don't simply tollerate them? VERY Rare. You must be congraduated however, because I could actually skip John in a mentally unstable state right now; but I'm going to finish your story since Tosia is such an interesting character. What an absolutely amazing story! I know you wrote this years ago, but it is still incredible!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to finish. The whump in it was fantastically done, as was the reasoning behind it. The Ancients and all of their messed up rules were a point of contention all the way through the Stargate franchise, so seeing one of their own that they doomed to a human life on such a desolate world was a real treat. Tosia, especially, quickly became a favorite of mine with all of her regrets. I was sad to see her go at the end of the story, but it was fitting that she was with John, flying, when it happened.

Another aspect of the story I thoroughly enjoyed was Rodney's relationship with John. Seeing how McKay had to overcome his own insecurities as John overcame what had been done to him was a great parallel. Though I have to say that I would have loved to have seen Carson blow a gasket over John going on a flight.

Definitely a story for the favorites list! Thank you for a great read! :)
