Maybe not about everybody, he's extremely selective in who he cares about (little Lily, Luke, and of course Rory), but when he does care about somebody he's very good about them. He won't ever admit it, and he's bad at the touchy-feely emotional stuff, but when it comes down to the wire...

Wow...I really like this! Even though Lorelia obviously dislikes Jess, I can't help but grin when she finds herself suddenly liking something he did.
