Can't wait to see new version of it :)
I loved the story.
Anon E. Mouse chapter 1 . 2/8/2018
I'm excited to see this is getting a re-vamp! (No pun intended...ok maybe slightly intended.) It's fun to see so many old timers back and reworking their stuff. TTSWT is currently being gutted and I have to say I've found the process pretty satisfying so far. I really look forward to seeing what you do with this in version 2.0. Welcome back and happy (re)writing!

Is Anna pregnant?

I just love the way you use different point of views to narrate the story in the first four chapters, even though I sometimes I got confused. :D I really like the way you portrait Verona and her emotions, because I didn't really pay a lot of attention to that character in the movie. You did give me a whole new view about Verona. With Dracula, I like how you make him gentle and brutal all at once, but I am still wondering in what way that he loves Anna though. _ The fact that he died surprised me a lot; I like twists and turns though, despite they often knock me off my chair. :))

After all, great job!

So i am more of an Xmen-High School Musical fanfic glutton but i was bored one day and stumbled upon this story... I was glad because i got to read the completed story in one go without having to wait for updates... And i LOVED LOVED LOVED it! It was beautifully written, and i couldn't put it down... I saw your sequel but i was wondering if that is complete or are you still writing it? Verona was my favourite! Each character was so distinct that just by reading the dialogue you know who's talking... Yes, its not easy sharing a husband (Dracula) and you captured the feelings of each bride magnificently... I thoroughly enjoyed the romantic scenes between Van Helsing and Anna... It was funny how she kept pushing him away when he tried to kiss her, only to succumb... So like real life... Props to a great story!ne day and stumbled upon this story... I was glad because i got to read the completed story in one go without having to wait for updates... And i LOVED LOVED LOVED it! I was all excited about the update and sudenly BANG it's over. XD I still liked it though. Short conversation between the two but it meant a lot, and I loved reading it and imagining it in my head.

Yes, Anna, Van Helsing is very handsome when he tips his hat and takes off his coat. ;) haha.

I'm excited to read the sequel. And any other writing that you do. So, until next time!

Well glad to see you updated and finished this story. That said I'll keep an eye out for the sequel.

Just a suggestion but for the sequel maybe write the whole story then make into chapters and then upload say a chapter a month, which should help with the long gaps between updates

I just found this, and I must say, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Great job.

I believe I answered the question in regards to going forward with this one or wrapping it up and doing a sequel in my review back in 2008.

Well you might update a bit more before you do anything else to make sure you have readers

You're alive! ALIVE! *electricity crackles*

Ahem. :) We are indeed deviantART friends. :D Though it is possible we've met in another life. Or across the great interweb. Both work. haha.

Anyway, I'm so glad you've started posting again! :3 It makes me all fuzzy inside. Starting this in a new story or leaving it all in one doesn't matter. I'm good either way. I just better make sure I have you on author alert and not just story alert, just in case. ;) Love having the chapter end with Anna determined to be happy, determined to do *something* as that is what she does best. But of course, something will most likely go wrong. Muahahahaha! I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Until next time!

I raelly like this story. Can you PLEASE, update? Please~-~
Anon E. Mouse chapter 22 . 7/29/2008
Lo! Hark! I am descending from on high/the pile of shite that is my life to deliver my judgment.

I hear ya on the "when will this end" thing, I *have* a mapped out ending to mine and it still feels like it will never EVER get there. Personally, I find that most of the stories on here-by virtue of the online format-read not as 'complete works,' not as 'books,' but as episodic, extended works, like a television series. In other words, I (and others I'm sure) don't expect them to be as self-contained and efficient as a book. And I think authors have similar attitudes-which would explain the myriad unedited monsters on here that have been allowed to spiral out of control with unneeded, drawn out, and pointless subplots/chapters. SO, I wouldn't worry that people will respond poorly if you just keep going. They're used to it.

I think that either option A or D is your best bet. If you have ideas that you want to work with, you should feel able to do so, so I don't advise option C-don't censor yourself. I also don't advise option B because you'll go mad. That would be like a "director's cut" story and, in my opinion, if the director thinks that their cut is a better film then *that* should have been the theatrical release.

Which one you ultimately choose depends on what you have planned. I know a *bit* of what you're planning from old conversations, but not enough to render any kind of real, informed opinion. So, rather than casting a vote, I think I'll just give you some advice: As you say, good stories have a beginning, middle, and end. Give yourself a bit of a break (maybe when you're on vacation! so jealous) and write out notes of all the ideas you've got. Then, try and organize them into a timeline-as if you were doing option A. When you've got them all written out, look at what you have and see which make the most sense. If you find that the "end" (or later parts) of the story mesh well with the beginning, then option A is probably best. If not, if you find that you've begun to create a whole new story, then option D-the sequel-may be the way to go.

Ultimately it comes down to whether or not what you have is COHESIVE. It doesn't matter how long a story is if it all works together.

I'll leave you with one final thought. The Lord of the Rings was written as one book, and was then broken down into three volumes to make it more accessible to readers. Each book works on its own, but isn't wholly independent-that is, each book just "stops" and then the next one "starts," without any kind of "end" or "beginning." So if you choose to break it up, you don't have to *wrap* it up (the first part) in order to do so.

Anyway, have an awesome vacation and let me know if you want to talk about it more. I'm sure that whatever you do will be brilliant.

love

me
