That was incredible - you're never really sure what actually causes the Wraith to reach Earth, but somehow it doesn't matter. Nicely done.

Oh those wishy washy Ancients and rules for time travel...darn them. A trade off of thousands for billions...not an easy choice and yet Rodney sounded like Rodney through the entire ordeal. Well done!

Most unusual tale.

The addition of the conversation regarding the villagers not wanting to evacuate makes a big difference in how I react to this story. Now some of the responsibility lies on the shoulders of the villagers rather than all on Rodney and the Atlanteans not making any effort to evacuate them. It's still mostly Rodney's responsibility but at least it isn't completely leaving them without options. Thank you.

Characters were spot on, the feeling of desperation Rodney was going through, Elizabeth's eventual action of trying to get Rodney to talk... It was all perfect.

Marvelous! Tense, angsty. I really felt Rodney's desire to tell his secret and loved how well you balanced his plight. The scene with Elizabeth and Ronon and Rodney in the brig was especially well done, but muy favorite part is the beginning with Ronon and the destruction all around. It is a testament to how much the characters have faced together than Elizabeth would trust Rodney in the end. He doesn't beg for nothing, that guy. Just a great, great story, Taz.

Wonderful fic, and good decision to have it against the backdrop of Christmas - it makes it all the more poignant. How terrible for McKay, knowing he will have to let thousands die to save billions, and being unable to tell the few people he should be able to trust. Lovely friendship here too, from all the characters - particularly Ronon, and his fierce protectiveness of McKay even if he doesn't understand why the scientist is making those decisions. Great fic!
