Wow, that was such a journey! I love your writing style and voice. The format of switching between the story and the journal was incredibly effective! May I just say that your Erik is one of my favorites! He's so true to Leroux's Phantom, and he never loses that touch of crazy, even as he grows as a character. I also enjoyed manipulative Christine, it made her a much better match for Erik! This was such a unique take their love story, thank you for writing this!

Well! Wasn't that a wild ride? But I thought it was great. It was well written, and so sweet at the end. The kids are so cute. At the beginning, I couldn't imagine how it could end happily, but I must say, you did well. I feel very satisfied with what I just read. Kudos!

I'm deeply intrigued by this thus far, but I also just noticed that the description in your bio says retelling, and therefore not necessarily EC in the end. Of course, I shouldn't have assumed that to begin with.
I love how much intelligence and bravery and cunning you read into Christine and her actions throughout the book. I love your interpretation of what she does and why. It's honestly gripping, and I'm rooting for her so hard. I'm also connecting to her personally, in a way that's a little difficult with canon!Christine (at least, what we get to see of her.) I love those Christines too, but there's something that draws me so much to this one's shrewdness.
