| Diaspared chapter 1 . 1/17/2014 Heh, Milton was devout and ended up inadvertently changing the entire power structure of what people consider to be Christianity. Satan was being punished for his sins for eternity, but then Milton had to go and make him a charismatic bastard playing the tragic hero. It's all good. Anyway, I like the Hermione stuff, no Ron/Hermione makes me smile whenever I see it. Abusive relationships really anger me, given my own personal experience with them (haven't been in one, thankfully, but I have very good knowledge of how they end.) It's a tragic mistake by Rowling that she is utterly unable to write convincing romance, or at least remain logically consistent in her books (I still think one of my wishes, should I ever be in possession of a genie, would be to have Harry and Hermione end up together in the last 2 books instead of Rowling's mess. An entire generation now thinks lust and some sort of chest monster, like in Alien, is how you know you're in love. It actually means you have a goddamn alien in your chest and need surgery immediately.) |
