I'm definitely enjoying this story so far. It's really well written, and I think you've captured the Ruth/Harry relationship (or lack thereof) very well!

I know I'm very late to this fic, but I'm very much enjoying it - particularly since I know the places you're talking about, the Mal Maison and the pub, The Eagle And Child. Definitely a Ruth place, being the former haunt of Tolkien and CS Lewis, if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, thanks for writing, I'm very much entertained :) x
