I’m really enjoying Diaspora! Just a couple of quick questions:
1. Did you change the format a bit compared to the Warrior story? In this one, all of Lynex’s dialogue is in italics. Does that indicate he’s speaking into her mind or that they’re somehow speaking in a different way from one another?
2. I thought that Althea was educated alongside Lynex and the other young wraith. But Lynex seems to know a lot more than she does - he can fly a dart, understands courting and binding ceremonies, knows where to find his and her new quarters once they return from the hunt, he knew Warrior and The Queen were mates etc. is this because of the hive-mind communication or was he (and the other young wraith) given extra lessons that Warrior excluded Althea from?

Wow what an amazing chapter! To see such a soft side of Lynex is so lovely. And it’s nice to get a sense of what Althea looks like and why Lynex loves her so much. Not that it’s just about her looks, of considering how much she loathes her humanness at times, it’s nice to know that he thinks she is beautiful.
And the intimate scene at the end was just perfect. It wouldn’t have been quite right if it had been described in too explicit detail. It was more romantic and perfect.

Amazing story. Amazing and heartbreaking.

I smiled during the happy times, was thoughtful as the events played out, and my heart ached for Althea and Lynex as they lost their home and their old life.

A beautiful story filled to the brim with tantalizing elements that leave you not only wanting more, but being willingly sucked into its core.

WHAT! NO THAT CAN'T BE IT! at the beginning i thought she would have tried to fight to be Queen but then again she is human...(thou my opinion i think it would have been cool for her) Will the Lantean team ever understand her view points? what will happen to her if they captured her? Will there be a squeal to this one!

Thank you so much for finishing Thunder! Although you may not have first intended this story to end this way, it was totally believable. It made sense that the rivals would take the Hives off the planet, it made sense that the Atlantis team would not be needed, and it made sense that a final fight scene would be required to dispatch team Atlantis from the story. I really enjoyed the fight - how Ronon was so dangerous, how Teyla used her Wraith telepathy, and how Rodney ran interference. It is ironic that Sheppard caused Althea so much damage, when she was always so drawn to him. In the end, you revealed that Lynex never lost his love for Althea, attacking Sheppard in a rage that transformed Lynex in Althea's eyes as 'truly Wraith'. It was touching how Lynex showed his love for Athea by his actions, not words. Our heroine was very injured at the end of Thunder, and our hero was desperate to save her. The tie in to 'Lonely Divides' was very slick.

I look forward to you continuing the tale of Lynex and Althea. I would love to see them meet Todd! You have lots of possibilities, and am glad that you have time to write again for you loyal fans.

She died! Ah. I guess I'm still a sucker for happy endings. Great story!

I'm glad you finished this story, I have enjoyed reading both this one and the one before it. You have left it so there can be more added to it. The Lantians were not shown in a good light here, it was a shame being older than both of them that Sheppard and co. couldn't get beyond their prejudices and help the young ones. But anyway, I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more stories with Althea and Lynex.
