To be honest, I am not a fan of fanfic in general because it makes the characters not canon and it morphs them into someone they’re not. However, I did like the fact that Snape was trying to help Harry. Though, I think I could have done without Minerva thinking that Severus raped Harry. That just really grossed me out and made me very uncomfortable, so I skimmed over that.

As a writer myself, I have avoided that kind of abuse. Specifically because it hurts to write and it hurts to read. I’m not saying you can’t have murder and what not, I’m just saying that some subjects are heavy, and shouldn’t be taken lightly, nor written about in a lighthearted way. I am saying this because there are people out there who have gone through these things, and when they read about it, it brings back horrible memories.
