Oh, please, why are there just SO darn many good stories left uncontinued on their own? Really, how do they survive without someone to feed them with new little chappies? *sniff* I'll tell you, the do not survive at all, they all die... But you could bring them back to life, you know? Giving them some food will do that? Yeah?

-Erm. I'm a little dramatic right now... sorry for that. But really, this story is good and I'd love to read more of it... no conclusion always makes me sad :-( Well, probably it won't go on, but I can try, can't I? Pretty please?

Wow. I think I enjoyed this one even more. This is a powerful, moving, incredible story. This:

“I delight in defying expectations,” she answered. “Don’t try to peg me as anything, Fiyero. I’m a green, round peg being forced into the wrongly shaped, wrongly colored hole. I’m a butterfly who tears through the pins binding it to the mortar board, who flies no matter how injured its wings. I’m a moonbeam, a wave, a leaf on a river. No one and nothing can hold me, no matter how much I want them to.” She looked up at him, her chin set with determination, but her hazel eyes held unutterable sadness. “I’m ethereal, intangible, yet I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, and there is nothing anyone can do about it.” She stared at him, pinning him to the seat like a butterfly weaker than the one she had compared herself to. “I’m bound and determined to save everyone in Oz, Fiyero, whether they like it or not, and no one can or will save me from myself.”

is awesome! This is perfect Elphaba. The imagery is powerful and describes her wonderfully.

Yes, fine, I'll admit it. I'm reading it again-ish, out of boredom. But it's good, too, so there's another reason.

Now I will complain to you because no one else I know, personally or e-personally, is learning Gaelic, or Irish Gaelic, if you want. Only I'm learning it without a class. Now let's see...the pronunciation can get confusing, to many accents, and something that's always puzzled me is how you could possibly get ROU-wuhr out of ramhar.

Maybe you could teach me Gaelic and I could teach you Russian.

ACK! I'm *so* sorry that it's taken me so long to read/review! I would go into an explanation of everything that has been going on since you last heard from me, but I don't feel like writing a novel right now.

These past few chapters have been so exciting! And even though I have one more chapter to read before I catch up, I just had to comment on this one.

'She whispered a few other words and her own skin shone green again. A few more, and her hat and broom had flown from upstairs and into her hands. Fiyero gaped openmouthed; he had never before seen her use magic so gratuitously.'

-Heh heh...I can just see the look on Fiyero's face. He's so adorable when he's struck with silence. Especially when it's caused by something in relation to Elphaba and/or her powers.

'And Elphaba had, still, to wait. Her body tensed to pounce, she counted the agonizing seconds as the men moved slowly away from the fire, sure in the security of the bonds around Lysia’s hands.

It had been burning for several minutes before she arrived, and it burned for several fateful minutes more before she deemed it safe to fly.'

-*sucks in a breath* Sweet Oz, I'm on the edge of my seat! I'm just waiting for Elphaba to make her move! Hurry!

'“Damn you to hell for your inhumanity,” she cried, only half in her Witch’s voice, but she no longer needed it to inspire fear. “How dare you presume to murder this woman without trial or evidence?”'

-Well, now you've gone and pissed off a Witch. *gives the soldiers a smug look* Any other strokes of genius? ...That's what I thought.

'When she arrived, Moya had awoken and was ordering Fiyero about the kitchen from the back room, cuddling Galwan against her in bed.'

-Ha ha! I just got an image of Fiyero rushing about the kitchen, wearing an apron. My mind is a frightening thing.

'Her strange syllables grew more and more frantic, as if she were gasping for breath and panicking at last, until she collapsed, exhausted, over her bent knees and began to sob.

“Elphie, Elphie, what’s wrong, what is it?” He knelt beside her, taking her into his arms.

“It didn’t work,” she cried, “Oh, Fiyero, it didn’t work!”'

-*gasp* What? No! I must read the next chapter! ...Why do I get the feelign that this still won't be resolved at the end of the next chapter? *sniffle*

Ha. "That's not ladylike speech." Not wise to try that on Elphie.
