Reviews for Not a Gryffindor Fight
LifeIsAGreatAdventure chapter 19 . 7/3
I followed this story many years ago . I recently found what was my version of a "follows" list before such things were easy to make happen on ffn and have reread this story. It is soooo good and its equally unfortunate that you haven't been able to pick it up since the completion of this chapter. I really hope that, eleven years too late as this review is, you will find the energy and time to pick it up someday. Thanks loads for your hard work on this back then, and hoping more will appear along the way-and that rl will permit this for you.
Sefera chapter 19 . 4/24/2018
Very good! I've favorited this! And I look forward to more, should you ever choose to continue it...
Guest chapter 19 . 2/11/2018
Very good so far, too bad you never completed it.
ironhair chapter 14 . 12/4/2015
turning too much into a cliche now.
Harry? Oh he's powerful, but he can break the laws of magic because no one told him about it.
Dont think EVERY researcher is stupid in the magical world. They would know what is a "law" and what's a "general limitation" based on lack of magical power.
Don't teach muggles about magic and 1/10 would be powerful enough to become superman, who can break all laws because they don't know about it.
In essence, ignorance of laws is actually good! A powerful but non-studious muggle would be so awesome in this universe of yours, lol.
ironhair chapter 13 . 12/4/2015
Picking on Ron too much, not that I have much love for him.. but you are ignoring hermione's madness and intrusiveness.
If Harry can ignore that behavioural attribute of Hermione...
Though Ron in canon/your fic is a pretty useless piece of lump. No support, no brains, nothing much except a connect to the talented weasley family.

btw why would ginny be captain? she showed no prodigious planning skill except for a decent seeker/chaser while is supposed to be a quidditch fanatic strategist. Now you are just picking on Ron, lol.

Guest chapter 16 . 4/18/2014
Very, very nice use of the Norse traditions regarding werewolves, and a splendid approach to Lupin's issues! Not so sure about "the Valkyrie, who fought for Odhinn in his struggle back into Asgard after he was cast out...the battle of Asgard was fought under a blazing sun." What? Saxo Grammaticus records two occasions on which Odhinn more-or-less voluntarily abdicated for a limited period, but his return was resolved peacefully in both cases. You aren't trying to unite Harry Potter with the *Marvel* universe, are you? That would be a fairly bad thing.
karanne chapter 6 . 10/17/2013
Where did Su come from? It was just Susan and Harry through the Alley and Gringotts.
DizzyZina chapter 19 . 6/10/2013
I really enjoyed this story. So much so that I sat down and read the whole thing from start to finish.
Excluding Chapter 19 I really enjoyed this story. I found Harry's character to be interesting. He was much more independent and mature than I would have expected. Earlier on when Ron was going through his jealous moods Harry's reaction was pleasing and I am glad he took the higher ground. I think it was a much more positive reaction and helped Ron come on board in a better way.

I like that Harry is powerful but not entirely aware of how much power he welds. Hermione, Neville, Luna and Ginny have been constant. I was initially surprised that Hermione was as likable. In other stories she annoys me with her moral high ground but here she is right in the midst of things and even cast Crucio in the previous chapter.

Okay now with Chapter 19. I don't understand where this came from. I though for a moment I had accidentally clicked on another story. I don't see how this fits in with the rest of the story at all.
CantYouSeeImReading chapter 3 . 6/26/2012
I'm really enjoying this story. I haven't read any reviews so IDK if someone said this already but a shooter in the 90's could be 007 on n64.
Draeconin chapter 12 . 9/21/2011
What in the world was with the first-person perspective in this chapter? It doesn't fit into the rest of the story, and from a purely personal viewpoint, I don't care for stories written that way (although I'll admit to having written a couple of original stories in first-person).
Draeconin chapter 10 . 9/21/2011
I find Harry's lack of curiosity about certain things - the contents of his vault and castle - to be very disturbing. Human nature and psychology should have been driving him to explore those, war effort be d mned. (And if he has been, one would have expected to see a description of the scene/s.) The fact that he has also become almost a background character at this point is also disappointing. Of course the fact that FFN has somehow stripped your scene separators from your chapters doesn't help, either. It makes keeping the story straight in your mind, harder.
Frida Degas chapter 19 . 5/19/2011
NOOOOOOOO! I am crushed that it looks like this story has been abandoned. Your portrayal of the characters has been one of the best I've read, and far more logical than many.

Deciding to not use any sort of breaks between scenes was interesting, it sometimes took me more than a moment to reorient, but it never was to such a degree that I was discouraged to keep reading.

I hope you are doing well and just have had a very protracted case of writer's block.

Also, I saw in one of your notes that English isn't your first language, and I just wanted to tell you that I would never have known had you not said so.
Boots chapter 19 . 2/6/2011
I wish you hadn't abandoned this story. It is worthy of continuation.

Sasparilla89 chapter 19 . 1/14/2011
Of cours. You stop writing right after your best chapter so far. Any chance you'll revive this story and start writing regularly again? I liked the story a lot. Especially his relationship with a muggle to keep him grounded from an overdose 'magical madness'.

Cheers and hopefully till next chapter!
