I'll admit that the first chapter made me have to put down my iPod for a minute to regain my composure, but this has too much potential for you to just drop the slagging thing like a baby raccoon you just realized was rabid. Yes, I use odd similes to get my point across. This is well written, has an intriguing and original plot and I am utterly frustrated at the lack of chapters. Please continue this. |

Javert seems just a bit too understanding and willing to accept the reality of his circumstances, but otherwise, I believe you have done a fine job of capturing and portraying the characters of these two men, as well as writing of the strange friendship that seems to have begun between them.
