You made me laugh a lot, very nice comedic writing. I'm very surprised you finished the story after such a long time. I'm a sucker for AU flashbacks with Luke in dad mode for Rory, so I really enjoyed the band-aid scene, and the background that Luke actually was her father is so sweet. It's kind of sad to not have Jess and Rory as a couple in this story, but if it means Christopher the slime never will be in the picture, that's a sacrifice I will make gladly. Very nice and typical Jess-Luke scene at the end. What will the town say to the revelation? How will the elder Gilmores react? I think this screams for a sequel!

You know what's scary? I actually read the first six chapters of this like, three days ago but didn't think you would ever update it or check the reviews so I didn't follow or review. Imagine my surprise! Great job!

You made me laugh so many times in this story.
Not only did you take a fresh look at the Sissy/Butch joke, but you wove it into a charming, loving story about how the two adults could rethink their relationship now that they had learned something new about each other and themselves.
It's remarkably plausible how they could have hooked up that way, neither of them in a mood to reveal too much about themselves.
Watching Luke first recoil from, then fall under Rory's spell was adorable. It will be such a challenge for him to face himself when he learns the truth after having been so judge mental in the early years.
Lorelai's poor torturous journey as she processes the truth is held in check only by Luke's strength. He battles her first angry reactions by admitting his own, helping them both to defuse the situation.
My head began swirling with ideas about how they would tell Rory and what their lives would be like moving forward. I could tell that no matter how you brought us to the climax, it would be with good characterizations and honoring the relationships so carefully formed over Rory's childhood. I'd hoped he'd get really happy and do something silly, but that clearly is left for us in the after story. You know, like when Luke just explodes with an idea like buying the building or pushing Jess in the lake.
I laughed so hard when the Jess issue came up, followed immediately by "Caesar can't hear you, he's not working today."
It became easy to imagine how they would co-parent moving forward, with equal say in what happens. Oh, the arguments!
Brilliant move having Lane discover the truth.
Then you slide in with "Luke is my father," and I snort chocolate milk. Such a GG twist on Star Wars! I could hardly contain myself.
I loved so much how he egged her on until she could hit him, trying to make the whole thing more real and put her on the path to acceptance.
The Jess as blood cousin was another classic bit of humor.
Even though this story is technically unfinished, the point at which we know Lorelai will apologize and everything will move forward is good enough. So much opportunity for a sequel or two, though.

Love ALL of your stories since I started reading in 2006. I know it has been forever since you last finished this chapter, but since you're so talented, thought it would be fairly easy if you finished. That would be super awesome! Well or even bring out a NEW L/L fic. Omg that would be the best thing ever. Well here's to hoping lol

hey, since your update on the sky story and your "promise" to eventually update all your storys i started to re-read them all again (probably for the fourth time). and i really like this one, among a few others, and i would be really grateful if you could continue this story. i really like your writing style and the ideas you always come up with. keep the updates coming, it doesnt really matter wich story first because i read them all.

LOVE this story but I feel like there's so much more mileage in it. Please continue. Until at least when Rory comes naturally to call him "Dad" (not unrealistically quickly though) and L&L get together.
