I like that you gave Donna a legit reason for acting like a tool. For throwing their entire friendship away, her love, for no good reason. I lost most of my Donna feelings after she ran away to Cali. Too selfish after that.

I adored this! It's the only fic I've found that has any explanation for Donna's behavior. I've always been pissed about how quickly Donna ditched Jackie after saying she was her best friend. She was a total bitch in S8. It was great to see an actual reason behind it, and the ending was absolutely perfect for this particular story. I don't see many ways for them to recover after the stripper marriage, and I didn't think Hyde deserved to get her back. At least Donna redeemed herself from the heartless bimbo we watched her become. :)

It really sucks because I am such a J/H fan but I know that the way you've ended it is really the only way it could end. In this story anyway, haha.

No, really, this is amazing from the beginning to the end. I think it's good that people are explaining why Donna was the way she was. think that really would be why she pushed Jackie away. You are an amazing writer and this was just fantastic. Very realistic. Love it. xx

What is going on? I already wrote a review. I'm glad Hyde is suffering watching his first love move on with disgusting, pervy, candy and Kelso loving Fez. It serves him right the stupid stripper loving bastard. Hm this reminded me of how much I despised everyone the final season. Ok to get back on topic, this was vey well written. I agree what Hyde did was unforgivable.

I loved this! It was one of the best written one-shots that I have came across in a while. It did anger me at how quickly Donna befriended Jackie when it took a couple of seasons for Jackie and Donna to bond. Donna was a crappy friend in Season 8 and I'm glad someone took the time to write this. It was much needed and as for the ending, I thought it was perfect because Jackie and Hyde's relationship was destroyed after the Sam incident. Thy could never repair it and if Fez made her happy for a while, then so be it because Hyde didn't deserve her and she had already given him so much. I loved hearing Donna's reasons for befriending Sam because they provided her character with a bit of redemption. :)

WOW! What a great and original idea. Donna really did suck for how she cozied up to Sam. I guess the writers assumed ( silly them) that Donna was closer to Hyde than Jackie so she would welcome the slut for Hyde. Obviously they don't know the power of girl friendship. But anyway, it is the perfect answer for an awful question. Very in character and well written too!

I didn't hate it. I thought it was wonderful. The eighth season was so fucked up in so many ways. It's wonderful to see authors on here find creative ways to bring Jackie and Hyde back together after all the writers put them through, but then again... we are all just trying to find someway to undue the mistakes that were made. This is probably how reality would have been... unforunately. But anyways...this was great.

Oh! Oh, I love it. Dramatic and sweet. AND you kept her with Fez! You don't know how happy that makes me.

gah-linda here (I'm signed in with this one, though, watching the stats page like a lunatic :p). I'm so glad you wrote something like this... I mean, I didn't watch season 8, but I read fanfic and spoilers, and I still hate Donna so freakin' much for choosing a stripper over Jackie b/c of a damn car. A CAR! (Same reason she whored herself out to Kasey, mind you...) And she freakin' took off to Cali with Jackie's "fiance" in season 4! Damn. I wanna like Donna...really, I do, I want to like her and I want to identify with her, but she makes it SO FREAKIN' HARD!

Anyways, it was lovely to read a story that offered some kind of redemption to Miss Pinch-my-butt-y. And yeah...something really crazy would have to happen to make Hyde worthy of Jackie's forgiveness. It's sad but true. So sad. *sigh*

OH MY GOD, you and me both! I hated Donna, I think I still do! That bitch was friend's with the skank who stole her best friend's man. Regardless if the man was a low-down dirty dog, she still should have stood up for her friend. I would have kicked the bitch's ass if she tried to talk to me. You know i'm a big fan of the whole jackie and hyde relationship but season seriously disgusted me. I hated Sam with a fiery passion and i always thought it was dumb of hyde not to ask Jackie what the hell was going on between her and kelso. Okay to get to the actual review. Your story was wonderful. I loved how you showed the true jackie and donna. It was nice to see how honest they could be. you really understood them. Oh and as a side little note...is it horrible that I totally hated jackie and fez together...i mean when they were pretending to be together it was great but once they were actually together it was just awkward. I dont know. Great story though.

Yeah, I hated Donna in the 8th season too. Come to think of it, I never really liked her in any of the seasons, I don't know why...I just never did. I really liked this story, it was very sad and bitter sweet, but good!
