Thank you so much for the update! I can't tell you how excited I am to hear that RC is coming back, better than ever. I'm sorry to hear that you went through that with your previous co-author. Sometimes friendships like that formed in fandom can end up that way, and it's sad to see. I'm glad you're moving onwards and upwards and can't wait to see where this ends up going. I must admit that the christian angle in the DP fandom is a really really tiny minority. That was why I read it, not that I'm not gonna follow the rewrite, but it was the most christian thing in the fandom. It still kinda is...

I'm sorry to hear about the schism. I've lost friends and family alike to my own atheist to agnostic leanings.

I do ask that whenever you post your rewrite that you don't take this down as you do so. Keep the original up, let others stumble into it if they do, or even if they want to look into the difference between a first and a second draft. Hell, I like to look at differences when I can.

It helps the writing process for everybody, to see the first and second draft of another's work. It proves that the revising process is needed, and it shows what true self editing is really supposed to do.

I realize that you are not aiming quite at that goal in this case, but I ask that you leave it up anyways.

Good luck on your writing project. I look forward to seeing it in the future. Hopefully I can follow it on ffn from the first chapter again.

I will say, I did enjoy RC but you have other stuff I enjoyed more. And I do have to say, when I read this, it did seem unusual that it had religious themes when the rest of your fics didn’t. I am religious. But I don’t like when fics have elements of religion in them unless it’s just subtle stuff. But like, things like say Danny and Sam getting married and doing it in a church always rubbed me the wrong way. But I don’t mind mentions of Sam being Jewish. Because it’s canon and that’s something one can do with out making Sam religious, as I imagine her to be. Anyway. I enjoy all your DP stuff and I really should go back and re-read stuff like TaBA. Whatever you do and whatever you have planned, I look forward to it

Such a shame that it's been almost a decade since you updated. It's truly an amazing story! There is a right proportion of humor, angst, suspense, and romance! I'm hooked.

You have definitely put a unique twist in the Danny-is-an-angel plot which has quite a following in this fandom (...you were perhaps the one who started it since this fic is quite early), by making Danny not able to tell anyone his non-mortality. Wow. What a plot.

Another great point is the TuckerxJazz pairing. They are adorable together, yes, but here in your story you didn't make it easy for them. That's not a bad thing. They are much more realistic this way, I think. They were aware of the ramifications of their relationship, especially how it affects Danny who were caught in the middle. You also nicely touched upon a very real issue in the spiked alcohol incident, mainly Jazz's confusion about how she viewed their relationship. I have to applaud you for not making either Tucker or Jazz OOC; they were in-character yet you highlighted how their in-character-ness made it possible for them to get together.

Danny's passive-aggressive acceptance of his situation is comedic gold for me XD

You really wrote him rather angsty but at the same time he was really funny XD
