Now that BBS has come out, it's so weird seeing Zexion as anyone's adoptive son other than Ansem. -shrug- I blinked and face-palmed at: "And then Xemnas died." It was just... O-O ...so abrupt! x] This story made me hungry...

Yay. Great story. i almost cried, but the presence of my parents prevented me.

The story reminded me of a manga i read a long time ago, in which a dog is the main character. his owner, an old man, still has the plastic bottle his wife drank from before she died.

I love that Point of View. yes, and Demyx. and Zexion. even if i never played any Kingdom Hearts game far enough to fight them- or just meet them. but now.. KH 358/2 days is out! I'll probably play it drooling all over my DS. (Plenty Axel and Roxas!)

I can sympathize with Zexion, not wanting pity for a loss, and probably because of my own experience it filled in a whole lot with just that sentence.

I'm not sure what it is but this piece is just so simple and eloquent and just nice, for lack of a better all-encompassing term. I've read a few of your other stories and I really like those too. wow, I own both of these books. Kitchen was the first I read. I loved that book. I was half way through the story until I realized, "wait...what?" read the authors note and squealed. wonderful.
