I've rushed headlong through 10 chapters without reviewing. Shame on me. This is a fantastic story, and very believable. I'd often wondered what Tom would be like, had Merope not died. You're doing a great job of showing us!

Harry can be a good seeker just on his own merit y’know? But I suppose if you think that, I’m not exactly gonna hate you for it. People are allowed their own opinions after all.

I always wondered what would happened had Merope survived and raised Tom Riddle on her own, and this story did not disappoint. In fact, it's the best version yet (even better than the version I concocted in my head). It's likely you'll never update another chapter again, which is so unfortunate because there's so much potential here, but I'm secretly hoping for this amazing story to continue. Thank you for such a wonderful story - it's truly one of the best Harry Potter fics I've ever read.

Oh my god! I hope you come back to this story, however unlikely it is.

My goodness. Minerva McGonaggal, a death eater, her future self would be disgusted! But I love this idea of how the death eaters came about. Hopefully, tom doesn’t become evil and snake-faced Voldemort, because I have to admit, I prefer Tom a lot mor, and I think he’s smarter than to make horcruxes. Splitting his soul? That’s just idiotic, but I can see the way you’re going, I think there will be horcruxes, but can Tom be a little sane, and not snake faced. So maybe a speck of sand as a horcrux, and he throws it to the bottom of the sea, but no more, please?

Thanks for your story. It gave me a lot to think about. I really apreciated that you didn't take the easy path and married Merope to Casper. You could have finshed the story that way easily. Moreover, I liked the way Tom character developped so nicely throughout the story and is alway explained by the plot.
I read that you became a 'real' author. Congratulation! You do a good job. I'm shure.

This is an enthralling read and one that leaves me desperately hoping that Tom doesn't grow to become a monster. The idea of Tom being borne out of a love potion and thus lacking the capacity for ever being able to love himself, thus making him irredeemable from the start, is way too sad of a thought.
