I just spent the last couple hours I guess reading all 22 chapters. I have got to tell you I thought it was great! You really captured the characters and the way I always imagined they would react to something like that. Except for Mark's mom, she seemed a little too "together" or "with it" for what I always imagined for her. I was always seeing more space cadet like.

I really enjoyed it. As a summer project, I started a short story. Kind of like I noticed you saying this one did. Well, here it is Novemeber, and I don't know how much I've written, but it seems like a lot (it's all handwritten in those old middle/hs black and white composition books - I've always been a write first, type later person). Truth is, I don't have an ending, but I do have a story line and I'm having a great time writing it.

I never considered myself a writer,not even in school. I have always had problems developing the actual main characters. I guess that's why I like reading/thinking up (and now actually writing down) fan fiction. You already have a base to work with. A place to start. And all of these characters are just so real and full of things you can do with them. I guess I always felt a little weird about writting it. I never would have shown it to anyone, it was just for me. But I have just been enjoying myself doing it! I feel a little better about it after reading yours! You may have inspired me to actually type it up and submit it!

But thanks for writing this. I really enjoyed it. You did a great job.

I love chapters 1-5 after that it gets too complicated with m/r(sorry not a fan of it)I was hoping that Maureen and Mark would hook back up because they just rock. well anyways really good story

"Left loosey, remember?" I know, that wasn't the point of this chapter but it freakin' cracked me up! But I'm sooooo happy Roger and Mark got back together. If they didn't, I was going to cry.

*starts sobbing* Noooooo! *straightens up, completely composed* Actually, to be honest, I thought Mark's mom would be more the be-in-total-shock-then-tell-her-son-she-loves-him-no-matter-what. But whatev.

Mark's mom is so sweet. I can totally relate. You know, I hate saying this, but I suspected Roger was a drug dealer. Awfulness. Not the story, the Roger being a dealer thing.
