Aaw! That was lovely, it had just the right amount of humour and fluff, and I loved how Jayne was trying to convince River right until the end that he was bad for her, while she already knew that he wasn't from the start. And this bit:

"Yep, hers was the candy-corn kiss of death and she was his dark angel. He always knew the girl would be the end of him either one way or another. Except now, he was absolutely certain there was no better way to go."

Awsome fic, was really funny in the beginning!

Alright, the beginning was freaking hilarious. The end was freaking adorable. I don't know which I liked better. Him chasing him around the ship, pretending she was going to sacrifice him-I was laughing my ass off. And then in the end, it was very sweet the way he was thinking about her. Not the ravishing part, though that's...well, never mind. But him thinking about how they were going to spend the morning snuggled in the bed. And how he didn't care if the crew found them and threatened him. It's sweet. And I really enjoyed it. Thanks. O:)
