Huh, AsuKakaKure is really strange in that they fit together despite the fact that you don't see them interacting together very often in canon (because, you know, Naruto's the main character and all). The ending is so happy and content that it makes the story just that much more depressing. |

The flashbacks and the current story drifted seamlessly together and it was a full story of friendship, loss, and love. Now you have me wondering if Kakashi was late to Asuma's funeral. Of course if he was, it would be expected. It would be wonderful to know the reason behind it though. The detours you take are carefully crafted, and your style in this piece gives a great reflection on Asuma, Kakashi, and Kurenai's lives. There is no climax. It's as if that has passed and it's all a trip down memory lane. Thanks for sharing. |
