I’m a big fan of your fix Replaced, so I was excited to read another story by you. The beginning was good, although the logic of “purifying” Raven didn’t really make sense–she’s a half-demon, that’s in her dna, but it doesn’t necessarily make her evil, that’s what her arc on the show is all about. Screwing destiny. Once the grandparents were introduced, however, I couldn’t buy into the story at all. Raven was extremely OOC, and I couldn’t suspend my disbelief enough to enjoy a story where an extremely strong-willed woman with an interest in the occult (that seems only partially related to her parentage and more related to her upbringing on Azarath) would suddenly start rolling over and obeying the every whim of her newly-discovered, Uber-Christian blood relatives. Sorry, but I can’t buy it.

honestly don't like her grandparents, too over bearing and clingy. I understand that she is like their daughter but I bet my last dollar that's why she ran away she felt like she couldn't live her life... Wait a minute this is only a fan fiction why am I getting so passionate about thisbut either way that's why she ran, I understand older people only wants what's best but GOD they can be so OVERBEARING!

It's a good story. One of your weaker ones for sure, but still good. I couldn't realy see this happening in the series, but for the most part the dialogue is realistic to the characters.

Also this is so much funnier in the hindsight of that new miniseries. Seriously. At least her family in that series compensates for their annoying excess of perkiness with going full badass and showing her human family is badass.

In the hindsight of the miniseries you should be real proud of calling the Roths the exact same way Marv Wolfman did in that series. It's hilarious and not too far removed from her meeting her Aunt Alice in said series :P
