This has such a telling of how amazing you write these three. I like how something unexpected (cigarette and smoke) could pull them much closer and nurse their griefs of their late sensei. It’s nice how you added Asuma as not someone they’d just got past his death easily. The implication that he means the world to them aside from their families and themselves shows how much griefs that must have weighted even after 6 months. Team 10’s stories are always nice to read but it’s very sad now that we know it’ll always end up with 3. Love this!

This was an amazing story. Their interactions were so honest, this scene could probably be canon. Ino-Shika-Chou interaction is definitely one of my favorite interactions in the manga and you definitely made me remember why.
