Can I just say... I've read one other Remus centered fic today, and it was sad too... both are great, and so sad... I especially liked the line about Andromeda Tonks being rumoured to have gone insane. I'm not totally sure why that line stuck out for me... maybe it was your phrasing. :)

Wow. This was completely beautiful. I adore it. It seems so much like Lily, to watch over her friends. At first I wondered why she wasn't looking out for Sirius, but then I realized that he was in Azkaban-she probably didn't want to see him in the state he was. Anyway, amazing story, and I'm adding you to my C2 archive.
