i'm not sure but it's like you're using old VERY outdated 1980's technology when if you're using cannon harry's birthdate then this fic would be starting around 2010 a time when computers are not only smaller but ALOT more powerful then their 80's counterparts

I'm feeling rather sad that this story just died. No update since 10/22/2006. This was so funny! I mean, first Luna talks Harry into funding and helping build a spaceship. Then talks him into piloting it on a mission to Mars. Harry really should've taken into consideration his personal luck. He is, after all, the personification of Murphy's Law with a twist. Anything weird that can happen WILL happen to Harry Potter. As such I was enjoying Harry trying just to survive onboard an alien starship. Somehow he really should've realized that the Fates don't like it when he simply tries to survive whatever they throw at him. They really seem to want him to conquer it. They did keep throwing Snottimort at him till he finally got it right and killed him for good. So now they've thrown him across the universe and want him to either solve this mess or win the war yet again. In a lot of other stories Harry realizes that he's Fate's chew toy and should just get on with whatever She/They want him to do.

I always hate harry potter stories where harry is supposed to be a powerful wizard, and yet he still verbalizes his spells and barely knows anything more powerful than expelliarmus... it's just pathetic.

First law: If there is no net force on an object, then its velocity is constant. The object is either at rest (if its velocity is equal to zero), or it moves with constant speed in a single direction. this is the law of motion if harry slows down someones being messing with the rules and i pray he doesn't keep his engines on the whole trip. that's a real waste of fuel.
