Due to some formatting issues - aka time jumps - I can't really give advice. My brain works in a very linear pattern.

I can, however, tell you what I like the most:

Marshall's chapter's are the perfect length and they really put across his madness well. Also, I'm excited to find out more about the abusive magical mother. And also also, I hope to hear more about the father you said had to be kept in his grave as if he is still alive or something. Very interesting.

Next, I love BJ's attitude. His personality really works in this piece and it seems more in character than a ton of the stories I've read (both yours and others.) I'd really like to see more chapters from his perspective exclusively now that he's stuck with her.

The only "suggestion" I can give is maybe fleshing out the chapters somehow. Not with references, but with details. As in, what is BJ doing while watching Lydie doodle or just some sort of fidgeting on both their parts aside from blushing and facial tics. This, I've been told, is a personal preference of mine, so feel free to disregard it.

Anyway, that's all I've got. Much love for this story and excitement about its continuation.

... You have no idea how much I loved that line. Can't wait to see what else there is! This is looking interesting. The first two chapters had no Lydia, and I had no idea where it was going, so I'm glad I stuck it out.
