That was very good. I had never really thought about how and why the different Autobots would no longer be on earth. I also never thought too much about the removal of Sparkpulg from the series either. I had just assumed they wanted to focus more on the new generation.

Thank you for the great fic. I think it had some great lessons in there.

Beautifully done. The bit about Ratchet talking with Spike was haunting. "that short window of time..."

Every time I see that part of the movie, I have that same feeling-it happened so fast...

I think I'm at a loss for words. Touching, realistic... just..wow.

And the whole thing about Sparkplug just added to the feeling of the fic. Did I mention I love this? Good work!

I like this, it's well done. I'm not so much worried about "why Ratchet went to the Moonbase" - always figured it was because they needed medics- but how Sparkplug's death affected him, abruptly highlighting some of the differences in thought between humans and Transformers, that was very insightful.

R.I.P., Ratchet.

That was thought provoking. Also made me realize I had never wondered what happened to Sparkplug after the movie. I guess it makes sense he also died.

Fabulous story. I loved how you showed Ratchet's anger at the war; at the fact that it would take people from him and there was nothing he could do; and the intrinsic differences between the humans and the cybertronians.

It really was beautifully written. I only have one suggestion to make on the formatting of it. Starting at the 10th sentence down:

'“Which we can easily replace.”

“Unless there’s some issue in parts fabrication you neglected to tell me about earlier, yeah.”

“Is there anything special about this relay?”'

Is this all Ratchet speaking? You may want to make this a bit clearer. Though it may have only been me that was thrown off at first.

oh this was nice... glad to see you're writing again.. and you had me wondering for a while there just what Ratchet was talking about till it reached the part where he started talking to Aid..

oh, interesting. Melancholy, perhaps, but an interesting progression of Ratchet's thoughts, and his changing duties. A wonderful "transition" piece, and a great character story. :)
