I adore the flow of your writing. It is very light, easy to digest and very much vivid. It is a creative and unusual idea to make Jack the Admiral. I'm intrigued, just as much as James is.

I clicked on the link from the summery on a flight of fancy, and boy am I glad I ever did! I honestly didn't believe Jack could pull it off believably... but wow, it was perfect! The sparrington was bonus, but overall it was a fantastic read that I couldn't stop till it was done... and then wished for more. I'm now going to raid your gallery XD. Thank you very much for writing this and keep up the good work. If only I could transport cookies to you in thanks, I would!

When I read the summary of this story, I was in disbelief that such an AU could possibly, possibly work with any plausibility. Needless to say, I just finished the fic... and have decided it is the best POTC fic of any kind (AU or not, slash or not) that I've ever read. And I've read A LOT. Your characterization of Jack, even as an admiral was SO spot on and believeable that it flawlessly created a plausible AU. As for Norrington, I do believe you have created a character capable of liking! I, for one, thought he was vile in the movies, but as he is in this fic - he's positively LIKABLE! As for the length of this amazingly (flawlessly) characterised fic, I can only say I wish there was more, and don't for a second ever think it's too long! Great, great job. You may have actually convinced me to ship Sparrington, even if it is AU! *grins*

Wonderful! I absolutely loved the way you did this . . . you kept Jack in character while making a wonderful AU. Norrington's reaction to "Admiral Sparrow" at the beginning was really funny, you did a great job with this.

So far this is wonderful! *even though I haven't even gotten that far!* Very interesting that you turned the beloved Jack into an Admiral! Something I think many wouldn't have thought to do. I also like the Norrington/Sparrow pairings. They just bring out more in both personalities. PERSONALITY CLASH! *that sounds like a game show* But opposites attract! So anyhow, I shall continue reading! Much fun!

Oh wow! It was amazing! I really enjoy the Norrington x Sparrow pairings. Although i felt in your story they strayed a little from their cinematic personalities (I could never see Jack working for Britain, or wearing anything to do with a uniform), I felt you stuck to the general characterizations you made in the beginning. This can be a very hard thing to do, so good on ye mate! Oh and thank-you for editing before you post unlike so many others... Overall it was a treat and I enjoyed it, I will look forward to reading more of your writtings!
