I've been rereading this, and enjoying it just as much as the first time. :-). I don't know if you have any plans or desire to write any more, but I would happily read it if you did!

Can I just say that I love the way you write Jess? There’s bits of his old self, but it’s still obvious that’s he’s grown up, like in the episode “let me hear your balalaikas ringing out”. It’s just all very in-character, and Jess isn’t exactly an easy character to write.

I also love the way the story is told, with Jess’ inner thoughts and the overall language of the narration.
I can’t wait to read more!

Progress is such a good thing, but it can be awkward at times. For example, Jess has to speak nicely on the phone - to Paris - for a good plan. Hmmm . . . Happy for Luke and Lorelai too! Thanks. More soon please.

Oh man, I really loved this chapter. The dialogue and back and forth between Jess and Luke was so in character. I can really hear their voices in my head as they speak.

I squealed when I saw that this got updated! I love this story and was looking for the next chapter after "Still There," and this was a perfect follow-up! Now I'm eagerly awaiting the 4th side story where we get to see Literati assuage their fears because it's obvious that they both want this relationship :)

Okay - I have never read this - ever - but I have been enjoying your recent "Jess" work, so I decided to give it a read. Lo and behold, I couldn't stop and read it all in one sitting. It is good - mostly because it has Luke and Jess alone with some Lorelai and Rory. It has the slow angst, their (everyone's) deep hurt. But I saw the start date, and I am worried that maybe you don't always update in a timely fashion. But, maybe that has all changed. I like a good Jess and . . . Luke / Lorelai / Rory story. So, please continue. I will read. Thanks. More soon please.

AHHHHH! To Jess admitting he still have feelings for Rory and his fear of getting burned again. Can't wait for the next chapter or the one shot companion to this fic! Thank you!

Now this is what family does..love Luke's sensitivity over Jess' feelings for Rory by his being cautious in the way he brings her up to him even though Jess waves it off as nothing. I hope Rory and Logan are broken up for good.

I believe Luke always rooted for Literati though it seems like he liked Logan in canon. I hope Jess calls her.

Yaaay! He pulled off a prank. Lol! And we gotta love Luke for still protecting his grown and mischievous nephew. Lol!

Jess needs time and space from anything connected to Rory. Poor guy, but at least in canon, he doesn't seem to be pining for her.

Lol! If Luke and Lorelai's relationship improved, I like to think some credit goes to Jess for that, perhaps wishing he did the same thing with Rory.
