This story was really, really wonderful. I don't know where I got the recommendation to read this (it was on a list I compiled), but I would love to thank that person with a box of chocolates or bouquet of flowers or some such. I haven't read The Black Rose, so I don't know how much is derived from that document, but this fic was a really great yarn. It was a believable AU. The writing was great; while reading I was vividly reminded of the style of the epic. I hope that you are doing well and are still writing, because you are good and can really only become better. Thank you for sharing this fantastic work with us. I can't believe I haven't read it before.

ooh i already love the new setting you've created. it's fascinating and holds a lot of potential. i can't wait to read past the first chapter!

I don't usually review when I'm halfway through a completed story but... WOW! I love the library, I love the foxes, I love the Rope... This chapter just blew my mind, and if I was in any way artistic, I would be drawing excessively in order to do the story justice. I am particularly fond of the amount of detailed description. I usually read very dialogue-centric fanfic, and I always feel like they could be much richer with a little more setting the scene. You have so far been fantastic at this, and I love it :D :D :D

I look forward to the remainder of the story :D and I hope there is something else out there of yours for me to read.

Amazing story!

This story was an amazing read! From the outlandish Acchain people and wilderness to the crazy, unreal plot twists and turns! And to think I was reticent to read this *shakes head* the ending was sad but beautiful! And the fox, Myobu is a great touch- I loved him 3 I was kind of disappointed in the Runners, when they betrayed Zuko and Katara, but *sigh* that is life in the desertlands. I'm guessing Jun isn't dead and won't stop trying to get to Aang. I'm hoping there is a sequel to this that is as amazing as this fic.

How did Jet find out who Zuko was? Why is Zuko on the run from the law? I'm confused...

Okay, where to begin. Well, this is pretty much the best alternative universe ever created for any series ever but especially applied to Avatar, it's perfect. You took what Mike and Bryan created and molded just that notch further with a realism they could only hope to achieve (though I do blame Nickelodeon for a huge portion of that). I love the reworked designs, personalities. EVERYTHING. Thank you for some awesome sauce. :D
