But wait if older naruto went to the past to change it his future would change meaning he wouldn't go back in time meaning he couldn't change what happened meaning nothing changed resulting in him going back in time to change everything meaning he changed every thing and he didn't go back in time resulting in this never happenning meaning he did go back in time? The hits aren't decreasing per chapter, if anything, you are getting more.
Everytime people come through to read your story, you get one hit per chapter. The chapters that have been out longer generally have more because people could only read up to those chapters before you updated. I had the same problem when I started writing

I know that you're working on this story, but I think it would be interesting, after you finish this story, if you would tell the story of the Naruto in this chapter.

I find it odd that Shino is the person doing all the sealing when it was Naruto who was trained by Konoha's only seal master. Sure Kakashi is decent... but it still makes one wonder... what exactly was Naruto learning during those four years he was away fighting A and S ranked shinobi. And how, with the current level of skill he is displaying... was he able to survive four years fighting A and S ranked nin? Seriously, his team mates are having to constantly bail him out.

I no longer wonder that he is only a chunin. You have him acting like one, that's for sure. The question is... did you write him this way because you decided to make him a chunin... or did he really not learn anything in four years other than how to make a bigger rasengan and a giant swamp.
