Wait did you just retcon the first 6 chapters?

So far from what I’m seeing, didn’t you already establish a ghost dying again became a permanent death? It kind of undermines scenes from before. If I had to think about what these chapters are missing, it’s the AU elements. From the beginning onwards, we had a picture of a earth fresh from its “victory”. Things were “real”, ghosts were hinted at from the main show and teased in ironic ways(like the 13th corpse). But from 6/7 onwards, it seems like you veered off into a new story vs a continuation of past chapters. It seems more like using light hearted elements of the show, especially when you’re basically using Spider-Man 3 pretty blatantly. I’m still enjoying the story though

I feel like I’m missing plenty of context. Did a bunch of stuff happen and we’re figuring out by context?

I’m enjoying the story, but the latest chapter had me taking a triple take. Tucker’s possession was a “year” ago?! This time compression and almost skipping over really breaks up the narrative, I thought it was weeks of not months in between!

damn. I am nearly speechless this is so good. I am absolutely loving the darker twist on the dp universe. of course a normal human would have trouble recovering from being overshadowed. of course the government would be concerned. the ember Danny fight scene is wonderfully written. I am also very impressed with how long these chapters are. I can't wait for freakshow to show up. I can tell it's gonna be good.

Okay so i have re read it and realized that 1 - 6 are updated and changed. I assume your gonna keep them like that for the rest of the story. Keep the good work then.

Ive tried reading this so many times. And its confussing in so many ways. You kill off people but they are back latter on. You have danny sam together but the next chapter they arent even dating. Its like you wrote the whole story. Updated it but forgot some chapters. You have fantastic first 6 chapters but after that its so confussing with no plot endings they just disappear.

I'm confused again...In the beginning it seemed like masters didn't have any powers now she does and Danny for reasons you haven't told us knows, how did that happen...Sam and Danny weren't they dating a few chapters ago? Now its like that whole thing is gone, erased...what about Jack Fenton and the charges laid against him, how he was framed, how was that resolved exactly? What about Sam taking the mantle of Skulker, where is Bullet...shouldn't she be gunning for the ghost, training with the suit, helping Danny patrol? What's happening

Umm I dont know if it was intentional on your part, but after chapter 6 chapter 7,8 and 9 they seem disconnected somehow...Valerie seems to have just come out of the blue, Danny is hanging out with the cool kids, also ghostly rings have changed color and you haven't made a big deal out of it...umm the fight with Valerie didn't go as expected, you made Danny out to be pretty powerful now, his fight with Desiree showed that and yet his fight with Valerie feels like you needed him, you cut down his speed, his telekinesis and other stuff, was there a reason? Seems fragmented I guess, like you forgot that you did changed some facts...I like the symbiote thing though, I think it's an interesting idea

Please take down all chapters after 6, or at least separate 1-6 from the rest of the story. Most people in the reviews section are confused. You started revising your story chapter by chapter, keeping the entire story still posted, but then you stopped in January? At least make the first six chapters into a new story, and not lobbed together with the much less superb writing of chapter 7 onward. Your revised story was much, MUCH better. Your writing has become absolutely phenomenal. Characters can actually die, people are intelligent, trauma is a thing, Sam and Danny are together with little fuss, Vanessa is a badass even without powers, Technus is a much more insidious character like all A.I. should be, plots within plots within plots are going on all the time, Danny has kickass lightning powers, all the ghosts have more character to them, Desiree, Skulker(and Bullet's as a consequence), and Technus all seem like much cooler Characters. Desiree adds a degree of Primordial Mysticysm to the story. Skulker and Bullet add consequence and professionalism. Texhnus adds intelligence and scheming, making paranoia seem like a good idea with his virtually limitless reach. I adore how Vanessa doesn't have powers and yet is still taking care of business. She is willing to get her hands dirty and manipulates people like a boss, she created a super-intelligent A.I. and I just love the idea of a human inspiring fear in ghosts. The way she reacted to the traitor in her company was amazing. "Shit" *cocks gun* "get me a helicopter, I need to take care of a lil' bitch." She is so cool. Much better than just a fem Vlad who wants Jack Fenton's baby and wants to kill Maddie. I also enjoy how the revised chapters draw away from high school, portraying the protagonists as 17 year olds dealing with monsters and death rather than some high school brats who make quips at ghost after school before going to the arcade. Seriously the revised chapters make the best Danny Phantom Fic I've been able to find. The non-revised portion... is a disjointed mess of far FAR lower quailty. Please revised the Chapters after 6. This story is too good to end at only six chapters.

What the FUCK? Danny and Valerie never dated, Danny was dating Sam, Vanessa wasn't a halfa, Skulker is fucking dead, and a A-list hardly existed before? Please just take down whatever isn't revised as this is confusing as hell. The revised story is so much better.
