snow chapter 1 . 6/15/2016 so beautifully written. aaa my heart completely exploded. |
Kuko-chan chapter 1 . 11/14/2015 This was a wonderfully written story. Such perfect characterizations! I love when writers try to tackle Riku and Sora's unspoken attraction within the world of the actual games because it's more challenging and enjoyable to read. The way you wrote Sora's attempt to understand his own emotions was so realistic and still very him. Every minute details, from body language to inner monologues, you've captured that fear and thrill of discovering new parts of love and friendship and beyond. There is no doubt they have a deep connection. Thank you for writing and sharing this story! |
MunecaRise chapter 1 . 3/1/2013 I am in tearssssss so beautiful! Coming back to KH fanfiction again and again for that sweet innocent love I craved in high school - this was very beautifully written, I can't wait to check out more stories later! :') Can you do an Akuroku one if you haven't already? Rikusora will always be my OTP, but the sadness to Akuroku is unparalleled *as I'm listening to The Other Promise Drammatica* |
WanderCrazy chapter 1 . 12/16/2010 Okay. i am in love with your writing. dear goodness. this is a praise and a heartfelt appeal for you to PLEASE share more of your work with the world! I love your plot- the quiet way through which you describe scenes of them. how they are together more intimately and thoroughly in this without kissing once than they would be if they had. i adore your interpretation of the ending of KH2, and i love how deeply you invested yourself into these characters. you took time with sora and riku to look at them and love on them and understand them- you looked at their motivations and their feelings and their SOULS and found what makes them move forward and keep holding on(this refers also to your other story, 'Chasing Starlight' though i'll review for that one also). I just...i love it. and i kind of want more, but i think you've said more with these few thousand words in these fics than other suthors say within chapters and chapters of fanfiction. i love your voice-quiet and earnest and simple, but insightful too. i love those beautifully big blocks of text that i want to read and relish and never end. just...this is gorgeous. thank you so much for writing this. thank you. |
Siyaa chapter 1 . 4/17/2010 I can't believe I never reviewed this. I've had it bookmarked for like, ever. I don't even know what to say. Your writing just made my heart clench and I could literally feel what they were feeling. This stands out in my mind as one of the best fanfics I've ever read and believe me, I've read a LOT. I feel like if I keep going, I would just gush about how indescribably beautiful this is. So I'll just leave it at that. |
keysandhearts chapter 1 . 4/3/2010 We thought this story was amazing. Your characters were very IC and the story was very well done. We liked how you incorporated dialogue from the game into your fic, it really went well together with the atmosphere you created, not to mention your writing is excellent as well. |
12q chapter 1 . 11/1/2008 Jesus christ. I can't begin to tell you how much I do love that, and how much I've wanted to read something like that for a long time. The pages on the net are flooding with cliche-stuffed fictions (AU: highschool fics, cool!calm!Riku and naive!cute!Sora, etc) and not very original things, and this one... it's, it's WOW. It feels so real: it's the best interpretation of their relationship I've ever come upon. What striked me most, though, is the way you portrayed Sora's feelings upon 'landing in a forgotten world that's crushed by darkness' (something along these lines: generally meaning, that there's only darkness left and they're left there without any hope at all, just to wither away, so to say) - and with Riku, it feels all right. He's happy for Kairi and their other friends to be in the other world and SAFE, but he doesn't mind being in such a situation (the withering-away thing, them in the darkness/forgotten etc) himself, as long as Riku's there, it'd be fine. As long as he'd have Riku, there could come what may. I also loved the way you described their relationship changing, and the seemingly casual banter ('i always figured i was better at stuff than you' etc) bearing so much more background and emotions than both of them want, can, admit. It's really, really, really beautiful. I admire your skill to take up their personalities like that, and the way you re-wrote the scene,... just took my breath away. I am entranced by the portrayal of them landing in Nothingness, and being oddly content to be there, just because they're with each other. This means they care for each other on such a profound level that the other one has become a part of their life. It's like - Riku's Sora's other half, as well as Sora's Riku's. They're not whole without each other. They could go on living, sure, but nothing would feel complete. I love the idea that they complete each other. OMG I could go on ranting like forever. Just, really, I am so in love with this and thank you so, so much for writing and sharing it. Such a beautiful, perfect portrayal of the scene and a very accurate, canon-compliant, wonderful study of their personalities. Thank you so much. |
youkai chick supreme chapter 1 . 9/8/2007 oh this is good! well written too, which is always a plus. i'll admit, i was a little disappointed at the end, all that build up to fall a little short, but it still was very enjoyable. nicely done. |
sensitive touchdown chapter 1 . 10/19/2006 I love this oneshot. I like how everything was beautifully described and detailed. Every emotion and feeling, you put them beautifully into words. Very touching story, gotta admit that. :) |
Heart-Of-Memories chapter 1 . 9/28/2006 Oh Man... Why couldnt the game have had your tranlastions, your scene at least! I mean come on, Sora was always, "Have you seen a guy named Riku". Its understandable this happens, best freinds do worry about eachother. |
