This is great

Rereading it for the fourth time and just now caught the Grey's Anatomy reference in chapter 24. Lol. Every time I read this you pull at my heartstrings.

This story is cute and all, but I'm having trouble getting over one (MAJOR) plot point. Don't take this the wrong way, it's a good story, but I can't get over this so excuse the rant. This stuff happens when Ryoma is a freshman... in middle school. In Japan which means he's in the 7th grade and is 12 (his birthday is in December I think).Has a guitar since he was 7? Ok. Loves Piano? Ok. Had sex with a 9th grader? Ummmmm... is smoking? Uhhhhhhh... His parents listening to him singing love songs about longing, want, and heartbreak? And not doing anything about it? Ok I know this is fanfiction, but come on. He's freaking 12. He is going through more romantic crises then his age would suggest. HE JUST STARTED PUBERTY. The story is well written, but when the first chapter confirms that he looks like a kid and IS a kid, and then proceeds to have him smoke. Forget getting a scolding from the parents, that is the apocalypse waiting on the horizon. I can't read this story knowing that the main character is a 12 year old jumping from serious relationship to serious relationship. I get into it and then I think HES 12. If he was a freshman in high school I would still have a bit of a problem (very minuscule), but hey, puberty would be in full swing and it would seem more believable to me at least a bit. He can be a short high schooler (I'm short myself so I see no issues with that). But a freaking 12 year old? And his lovers being between the ages of 14-15? They shouldn't have that much experience either! The foundations here are causing me grief but hey like I said it's a good story I kept reading even though every chapter a scream he's twelve. But once I read him smoking, I decided that this Ryoma has too many problems as a TWELVE year old to use smoking as a means of escape. His body is still developing and he's a freaking tennis player who relies on physical prowess. I know for a fact that Ryoma would not jeopardize his body like that and yeah... reading this sounds like I'm bashing or that I am too realistic, but I simply can't imagine a 12 year old having sex and smoking and all the pining boys, and not have the parents saying SOMETHING.

I love you. The 9 hardest times and the advice was so heartbreaking. Including the current or past real life examples.

Is it bad that I read 'applause' as applesauce? I'm hungry haha xD

Didn't expect that James would be asked out by Fuji, I thought he'd be with Yuuta xD want to see more of James and Fuji though. I was searching through your bio whether you'd have a sequel for this story, lol.

Oh my, there's a lot of interesting things that are happening here and it gives me chill. I've always felt like this when I'm getting excited.

It's really funny on how Fuji has been clueless about them when he's very observant most of the time, he's the tensai after all.
